other golf associations.
GUEST INPUT:

  1. CGC Monthly report – Perry Esterson PE mentioned 1) All golf course tree
branch pruning has been completed by Citywide Tree Service. CMC
members are grateful and feel the job was done well. 2) Oregon
Governor, Kotek, has delayed tolling discussions on I-205, and I-5 until
  2. More study needed.
    New Business:
Year end celebration dinner and awards. Don1 said Year-End Banquet date of
Oct 6 @ 5:30pm could conflict with Denny Gaibler’s couples event which is each
Friday May- Oct. Board will cancel the Y-E Banquet. The Final CMC breakfast
will serve to recognize hole-in-one winners as well as flight club champions.
    OLD BUSINESS: None
Vice President Report: Groshong: Invitational Committee report Spencer reports
    1) the application to play has been completed and is expected to be released
soon. 2) the ‘turf & surf plus wine’ dinner @ $50 each is being discussed now.
Each table would have a bottle of red & white wine. Will ask Chris B if he is able
to get a wine discount for the dinner. We can do the wine ourselves or through
catering. 3) Met with Jan Landis and Cathy Harp of CWGA to review their
participation & discuss roles for the Invitational. M Brown offered to give Spence
‘old binders’ of information for previous Invitationals. CWGA and Spence said
need for 4 women each day for Registration, 4 women for the Para Mutual, and 4
women for the Scoring. CWGA has also offered to provide Hors-d’oeuvres at the
cocktail party. Cost: Registration/Scoring $1000, Cocktail Party $1000.
Spencer said he was comfortable with keeping the initial cost of player entry at
    $225.
Membership: 230 members: McLeod Richard reported latest membership total.
He also reached out to the 35 un-responding and was able to re-enlist 6.
Richard said there was some confusion as to the actual # of “9 Hole” players
because the CMC application indicates “do you want to play 18, 9 or both” the
‘both’ was never recorded. At present there appears to be 30 of the 9 Hole
members, with another 40 in the “both” category.
TBonino asks “Is there a role for the 9 Hole members at the Invitational?” Not yet
    Publicity/Communications (Mason, Groshong):
Treasurer Report (Lloyd) Don2 sent the updated financials to all board members
prior to this meeting. Don2 asked if there was a standing order to re-up our CMC
liability insurance package. The answer was yes. Just to verify, a MOTION was
made to ‘re-up this policy’ and was seconded and carried.
